Lucy Howe is a freelance designer / maker with experience working in both the fine art and design industries. Graduating in 2017 with a First Class degree in Textile Design from Edinburgh University, Lucy has worked in various studios who embody the best of British craftsmanship from couture fashion houses to prop making companies for theatre and film . During her time as a Studio Manager at Hand & Lock, Lucy has managed a plethora of  bespoke textile projects for clients ranging from the Royal Household to the English National Ballet. In October 2021, Lucy is due to start a part-time masters at Oxford University studying the History of Design where she endeavours to continue her creative practice as a freelance craftsperson alongside her theoretical studies.
